Old news, he thought he was Superman. My brother went to school with him.

That's sad he was the most successful fitness model of all time. And one of the best "fitness-world" entrepreneur. Always had cool ways of thinking and stuff. Extremely motivational.
May he RIP with his loving dogs !David Cua also called Donald Pump known for "making bodybuilding great again" !

From wikipedia.. "Plitt was standing on the tracks, and tried to outrace the train when it approached, to prove the efficiency of an energy drink for a commercial"
While I loved some of his motivational videos..... That's just stupid. Almost a Darwin award winner.
Sorry if that's harsh but it's the truth.

I wasn't there, but I agree.
Overconfidence? Simple yet tragic miscalculation? I wonder what happened.

pd, did you see this?
Friends of a fitness model and actor who was hit by a train and killed while making a video said that he was a bold and fearless person who just made a rare mistake.
"It was just a freaky moment where something got out of control," said Warren Coulter, who had been friends for 15 years with 37-year-old George Gregory Plitt Jr., who went by "Greg."
"Everything Greg did, he did extremely well," Coulter said. "This isn't anyone who ever took a nap."
Coulter said he spoke to members of the film crew and says Plitt misjudged the situation and tripped and fell before he was hit by the train. TMZ cites sources who say he just couldn't get up in time.
"No question of it, it was just a mistake," Coulter said.

Totally senseless death. I would have worked an angle to just appear to outrun the train, or heck whip up some CG. Despite the outcome dude had more balls than me.

Don't know if he was a regular, but I saw Greg was on an episode of Bravo's television show Work Out.

Greg's great misadventure.
Unfortunately trains tend to intervene with track addictions before family members get a chance.
