Dan Solomon call out Dave and Romano on Levrone predictions

Not sure if it this is the one aesqueda08 is talking about, regardless, they speak about some people hyping the story up too much and ruining it. They say this story should be about never too late to start, and journalists should focus on Phil's ability to repeat and Dexter's age etc., the "real storys".(They speak about it at the final minutes)

Just because Ben Weider gives you the IFBB Lifetime Achievement Award doesn't exactly make you numero uno on everything. I believe Dave's assessment is spot on.

I had had a listen to the link, both Dan and Chad very critical of the hyping of levrone. Dan sees it at setting Levrone up for a big fall instead of it just being a good news story. Chad says he spent a lot of time with Levrone in the 90's at Weider events and meeting etc and he says Kevin is nowhere near where he used to be at 6 weeks out from the O. He implied anybody hyping Levrone is doing it for their own benefit.

I mean, yes, I agree, but he's getting views or clicks or whatevers by discussing these events just as the O is getting extra attention, Luimarco is getting additional YouTube views, and 20 forums are getting ten additional threads a piece.

Good luck to Levrone! Seriously, what constitutes "a big fall"? Will Levrone be incredibly depressed if he places dead last? I suspect he's made of sturdier stuff than that.

You are right Solomon is playing for hits just like anybody else. Chad sounded a little more genuine and he seems to have a good insight into Levrone's physique. If Levrone gave Solomon an exclusive his opinion would change.

When the come back was announced my money was initially on Levrone not ever stepping on the O stage. Now I want him to be there because he will bring something different that bodybuilding has lost somewhere along the way. I still can't believe he will have the size but time will tell.

I was ticked he backed out of Live With, but money's money, so...

And I doubted he'd ever step on stage, so many false starts, but now I hope he arrives on stage in Vegas and blows some doors off.

I truly hope he presents a ripped, good looking physique with a classic routine. This could be an amazing O.

i know Chad Nicholls has been around for a long time, but if you look at training videos and pictures from the 90's leading up to the O, Levrone looks very similar to where he is at now. And, people haven't been coming int he condition reminiscent of the 90's, I can guarantee Levrone will be shredded
