I liked his early vids... his French Canadian accent aside, I thought he was sincere in offering his views on how to build muscle naturally (baby please). He laid out his training and nutrition programs and was pretty open to answering questions.. but as his popularity grew, Lui changed to 'L.U.I.', essentially creating a parody(baby please) of himself, his accent, and made up a new way of talking, that probably (baby please) attracted even more subscribers who listen just for laughs as he intentionally (baby please, shall we) butchers the English language.
I'm not mad at him though.. it works for him. I admit watch from time to time.

The thing with Lui is that he was all natural focused at one time but then (I'm guessing) he switched his focus to pro bodybuilding because he got more money from YouTube for videos on the supplement enhanced crowd. So much for his ethics.

What Curt said. Watched a few of his a while back but got tired of him. Thought Vegan Gains was funnier. Nothing particularly insightful in the L.U.I. videos.

And I'm not making a statement about natural versus enhanced at all. It's just the seeming hypocrisy on Lui's part. He started out dismissing anabolics and offering videos on his training and meals he would eat but then transformed into some commentator/expert on IFBB athletes. Just seems less than genuine/more mercenary or money-inspired.

Levrone isn't winning the O! Unless Heath shows up looking like he is 12 weeks out! And if Levrone were to win, then every bodybuilder he beat at that show needs to retire! SRS? A 52 yr old is going to look as good or better than he did at 25? C'mon kid! Its a GREAT story and builds the hype, but he isnt winning.

I'm with you on the grounds that Levrone winning is slim to none. However its a very small group that believes he can win it all, and the other pro-Levrone fans would like to see it happen but know it might be wishful thinking.
For the most part the fans just want him to do well weather that top 10 or top 6.
We have two extreme sides of the spectrum, you have those who say he wont even make it to the stage then you have those who say hes destined to win it all.
Obviously as a competitor he has to believe he can win, you know, you compete. You have to have that mentality to achieve something that may never happen doesn't mean it works out that way. So we cant knock Levrone if he believes it.
As a person the dude wants to hit the stage again and hes working hard to bring us something special we should take it for what it is.In the end its his life, we have no right to question what he wants to do with his body and how that effects his legacy that's up to him.
No need to debate weather he is gonna win the competition cuz who knows where hell end up but based on his ability and current development just how high can he go?
let the chips fall where they may and enjoy the ride.
Nothing should tarnish or take away what the man has achieved already anything else is just gravy.

A 30 year old Levrone would walk away with this years O. Unfortunately he is not 30. I see him breaking the Top 10. He has that 3D muscle superman look that gets highly rewarded these days.

And also Kevin won't have the water philed condom look that so many of todays competitors are showing.

It will be interesting to see how the judges judge . To what criteria I mean . If I were Levrone I'd aim to come in extremely peeled , get the proportion rocking , keep the crazy parts . I think that look can hurt a lot of people .

L-U-I is taking the safe bet and playing the expert. Dave is an expert and takes the risk based on what he sees and knows. Dave is the bigger man in all respects. L-U-I is a youtuber. Does he even have a full time job? I don't know. Dave is a former National competitor, highly educated in applied science and a successful business owner
