Intramuscular or subcutaneous
Any experience with long acting insulin administrating intramuscular? What's the best way subq or Im?

I used to pin sub-q before training and IM immediately after training. I was told that the IM shots would make the humulin-R that I used act slightly faster. I really liked that protocol and if I ever use insulin again that's how I'll do it

Don't inject insulin IM. It says so in the insert in the Novolin-R vial. It causes too fast of a spike of insulin and thus is harder to control. If you want it to kick in faster inject it subq in your stomach area.

I recently saw a video on youtube from enhanced athlete of a guy who injected insulin subq in the same side of his stomach for several months. By the end of his cycle that spot had more adipose tissue. After seeing that im never doing subq insulin injects ever again!
