Josh v Dallas - Who Was Better At The Olympia
A lot of pundits were very impressed with Josh and during prejudging he was being tipped for a high placing.
Dallas has added a lot of mass but was it enough to beat Josh's excellent conditioning.
make you mark on the poll.

Josh is really good and may not be as popular as the other guys but I can see him winning a lot of shows in the future

I'm with the majority of the judges that had Dallas in front. His skin isn't as thin as Josh's and he's not as vascular, but he's hard, bigger and quite a bit more dense. I also like his shape/frame better.
What josh has a lot of is veins. He's genetically very vascular. You can be a Mr. Olympia with minimal vascularity (see Jay Cutler). It can be an indication of conditioning for some guys (and Josh WAS conditioned), but a lot of people overvalue it as the be-all, end-all of conditioning. There was a guy in the 212 that had crazy vascularity with a gut and no separation. Branch Warren can have veins on his cheeks and on his eyelids while holding fat and water in his lower back. Etc.
What Josh lacks is density, especially in the side chest, which is king of the density shots. Centopani is an example of a big, conditioned guy that has always struggled with projecting a dense look in that shot.- BODYBUILDING -
