Looking at Waylon's video, Bonac has them all on calves, tiniest waist (though Rhoden has the best structure, that deadpan expression can't sway many judges), awesome most muscular and the aforementioned side triceps.
Bonac is grinning from ear to ear, but I guess being positioned in the center of that company would put a smile on most faces.
Waylon said possible European bias. That could clearly be a contributing factor. Judging is never based on physique alone, is it?Facebook | Instagram | Twitter | Join Rx Muscle on Facebook!

I had Dexter the winner, his conditioning looked excellent in prejudging.
All the same I am happy for Bonac, he got over looked a couple of times at past Olympias.

I had it Dex, Bonac, Ramy, Rhoden/Winklaar after prejudging -- all based on dryness/fullness/hardness since we already know they're interchangeable in a lot of ways. Bonac's muscularity and fullness was obviously appreciated by those judges over Dexter's shape. He has more going on per square inch and I'm happy for him.
Ramy regressed a bit from Kuwait and doesn't have the maturity and detail yet, especially in the hams, to still pull off big shows at less than his best like Heath and Kai have done in the past 6-7 years.
Rhoden was clearly off. We all know he has a good structure. It's not a justification for beating guys with more complete physiques that have better conditioning. He was closer to Winklaar than Dexter and Bonac here. His body didn't cooperate.
This is good for bodybuilding. We saw Rhoden finish ahead of these guys at the Olympia and then we saw Dexter, Ramy and Bonac all win. Even in NY we saw Winklaar push Dexter. 2-6 in the world is very close. And we also know that Kai and Wolf stand with these guys easily. Throw in Heath and that's an 8-man callout for the ages. We know a good Cedric stands with them too. And then the young guys coming up behind them.
Things aren't bad. Different guys winning is what we've wanted. It means they're close and, in turn, the conditioning in the sport will improve because shows are competitive again. Guys will push themselves.- BODYBUILDING -
