Sublingual Supplementation
As some of you may know, I am the supplement review editor for DigitalMuscle.com where i (you guessed it) review supplements. One of my responsibilities is to conduct my own research on new products and new innovations in the supplement market and highlight them (of positive) and expose them (if negative).
I came across a new company called Premier Pharmaceuticals (actually a sponsor of RxMuscle.com) that specializes in sublingual supplementation. Basically that means the liquid substance is placed under the tongue with the I mention for a greater rate of absorption.Studies have been done to suggest sublingual supplementation yields up to 91% greater absorption as compared to standard issue pills/powders.
Steroidal supps like winstrol are generally taken sublingual but Premier's menu offers legal supplements like a BCAA and estrogen blocker. I have not yet tried the stuff but have since reached out to the company for some samples. What do you guys think?

I would love to know more information about this-faster delivery of some substances is a good thing-would sublingual be more advantageous for something like a BCAA so that it's not trying to survive the volatile environment of the GI track?

I've been doing some research on the company in general and on the delivery system. It's not necessarily "faster" but instead more "efficient." You are absolutely right, nutrient laden pills and powders have a loooooong journey to cover through the entire gastrointestinal tract. A journey that includes the stomach, the intestines, and the liver. But the time the intended nutrients reach your muscles, they are greatly diluted. The principle behind sublingual delivery would suggest the nutrients are introduced into the capillaries under the tongue for a direct route to the bloodstream.

I got the supplements a couple of days ago and have started integrating them into my regiment. So far so good! They responded promptly and sent out the package immediately. This is a young company but great customer service so far!

UPDATE: I have been supplementing with the Premier Pharmaceutical Stack of Glyco Manager, Estrogen Blocker, and Vital Performance for about 2 weeks now.
-Vital Performance (multi-vitamin/mineral formula) is incredible 200%+ value of all micronutrients and I feel as healthy as ever despite the bitter cold of the New Jersey winter.
-Glyco Manager (glucose disposal agent) also works very well as I can feel my pumps increasing in the gym. I have not changed a thing about my diet and am getting leaner. I won't make the claim that I "can feel my body processing carbs better" but I do feel as though my digestion is more improved as well as my energy levels around mid-day.
-Estrogen Blocker is difficult to measure as I am not going for routine blood work checkups.
So far so good with this stuff, I will continue to post my thoughts as the weeks progress.

Our bodies are created to get nutrition in various ways. Sublingual is NOT best way to get some nutrients. If it was it's how your body would absorb them now. That it is capable of absorbing some chemicals etc already shows that some chems are best absorbed that way. I'd want to research those which are and those which are not. Then only supplement those which it's useful to get in that way.
I'm reminded of claims by one supplement company making the particles in their product so small (nano-particlates) that they'd 'jump' straight across in the gut, so to speak, and not require the regular absorption method. This in itself is not a good thing because it suggests undigested particles floating around our systems.
Just because we can doesn't mean we should - sublingual or otherwise.06, 08, 09 and now 2010 British (4x) and 2008/2010 European Grip Champion (2x)

I understand what you're saying here, however the argument of how we "should" absorb certain nutrients is old and run into the ground. It's almost 2017 and the way chemo and nutrients are introduced into our bodies change and evolve just like our bodies change and evolve.
I encourage you to check out the science. I'm not saying it's the end all, be all and by no means do I think sublingual supplementation is a sign of the second coming but it's an interesting new concept that has my attention and the attention of many others.
