KnightXavi is a veteran member of the Rx Muscle Forums. Let's learn more about this movie fan, cyclist, and supporter of female muscle!
How were you introduced to the weights?
I was 10. There was a local Boys’ Club which had an underground or basement gym that my friends and I hang out. That was where we talked and kept ourselves in shape.
How did you learn about Rx Muscle Forums?
I was on another forum/board. Someone had posted that a new muscle site was online. I saw it was Rx Muscle and joined.
What’s your favorite part of Rx Muscle Forums?
The interaction with other posters and checking out what the people are talking about in the muscle industry/culture.
What would you do to improve the site and the forums in particular?
To be honest, I really don’t know.
Do you have a favorite movie?
I like a lot of movies. I usually go for the Sci-Fi/Action genre. So, I am definitely into Star Wars, Star Trek, Terminator, and super-hero movies. But, I am also into anything that stars Clint Eastwood, or Steve McQueen. I am fascinated by those two men.

What is your favorite part of the iron game – strongman, bodybuilding, Men’s Physique, Bikini, etc.?
While I like and follow male bodybuilders Cedric McMillan and Kai Greene, I generally follow the female side of things.
In particular WBB and WP. Those divisions are just more interesting to me. Especially since male bodybuilding, in my opinion, is just not what it used to be. They all look the same. They all look blocky and bloated. Unlike the male bodybuilders I admired like Lee Haney and Mike Christian.

What's your response to people who dislike or criticize women with muscle?
I don’t. Because while most women actually improve themselves and look better with muscle. There are some that like the “stereotype” and follow it.
What's your favorite thing about bodybuilding?
How good I feel after a quality workout.
What's your least favorite thing about bodybuilding?
When following contests/competitions, the judging.
What is your goal so far as the weights go?
Right now, I’m taking a break from weightlifting. Unfortunately, my shoulder problems have made it hard to lift the way I like. So, I am giving them a rest for a while.
Sounds like a smart strategy. Do you have any favorite bodybuilders or strength athletes?
Men (Past) -- Lee Haney, Mike Christian, Arnold Schwarzenegger. Lou Ferrigno.
Men (Present) -- Cedric McMillan, Kai Greene.
Women (Past) -- Lenda Murray, Rachel McLish, Anja Schreiner, Cory Everson, Juliette Bergmann, Lesa Lewis, Dayana Cadeau, Carrie Simmons.
Women (Present) -- Juliana Malacarne, Yaxeni Oriquen, Sheila Bleck, Jillian Reville, Beni Lopez, Danielle Reardon, Mindi O’Brien, Karin Kimura Hobbs, Erica Blockman, Heather Grace, Patricia Mello, Latorya Watts.

Who is someone you look forward to meeting and perhaps picking their brain?
David Bowie and Prince. But, unfortunately, both men died this year. So, there goes that. They were my two most favorite musicians.

How’s your training going?
To be honest, I haven’t been doing any weight training for about a year. A bad right shoulder has made it tough to train the way I like.
And how long have you been training?
From 1989, when I was in high school, until 2015, I trained three to four times a week.
Favorite TV show?
Other than sports (Particularly Football and Soccer), I don’t watch a lot of TV. Other than American Horror Story, I don’t watch any current shows. I like to watch classic shows like Mission: Impossible, Hawaii Five-0, The Incredible Hulk, etc.

What couldn't you live without?
My mum and my truck.
What currently drives you nuts?
Bad kids. Irresponsible people. There’s more, but it would be a rather long list.
Lol :-) We should compare lists. What motivates you?
Fear.
What are your hobbies?
Since I have given the weights a break, I have become a rabid cyclist. Two years ago, I bought a mountain bike. At first, I let it collect dust. Then, when I couldn’t lift, I started riding it and now I love riding it. I have biked all over the state. Now, I am planning a bike ride to the beaches.
Do you have any pets?
No.
