IM Quad injections.. are they that bad?

Saw a video where Dave suggests never to do steroid injections in the quad. Says the muscle there is too dense, too many vessels, etc. He said even if you've been doing it long term, it's just a matter of time before you have a bad injection in the quad.

I've been doing quad injections for a year with no issue, but this feedback has be second guessing. Anyone else avoid IM quad injections for things like test, EQ, etc?

Yes hell no too quads use too do it alot one until I had a bad pin could hardly walk for a week couldnt train legs for a month awfull

I used to pin quads. Caught a bad shot once and definitely refuse to ever do it again. I'm sure if you do them correctly it's not an issue but I've been on hrt for over 7 years and not once has my doctor ever mentioned pinning a quad.
