The Perfect Bodybuilding Movie | IRON RAGE

Good topic of discussion.
But as much as I love and have watched Pumping Iron, it was not a true documentary, but a docudrama.. Many of the stories Arnold told were either not true or stories of other bodybuilders, but not his own.
We never did get the true Arnold... in the behind the scenes featurette, even the director couldn't get to the real Arnold.
Even the Katz/Waller shirt issue was built up to more than what it was.
Still, I probably watch a bit of it once per month.

The Real Arnold??
PTB . . . dont u know thats WHO Arnold is? He's in character the entire time he's out in public.
His persona 24/7 period.
I've been in meetings where only his bodyguards are with him, and let me tell u ....he's that same "guy" . . .
The only one who knows the real "Arnold" is his wife at home .....maybe lol

Maybe true, but much of Pumping Iron was faked.
I created a post on "Facing Arnold" documentary. It was as much about Lou Ferrigno as it was about Arnold, and we learned that his father was only brought in for the role... he did not train his son, and kicked his son out of his house when he didn't win.
So we didn't get true Lou, true Katz/Waller, and Arnold told many stories.
It's a masterpiece, and still the best film on bodybuilding ever, but still a docuDRAMA... and an effective one.
