8 weeks out, keto diet, clen T3 question
So far so good, age 48, bdy wt 240, body fat 6-7%, (skin fold)...I need to shred the last 10 pounds or so. I always get in shape, but since I'm older and have less muscle than when I last competed 10 years ago, its been a little harder. I need to bring a super ripped package for this Masters over 40 division.
So I'm doing a Modified KETO diet, high protein, no carb, low fat. In the past clen and T3 seem to flatten my muscles out and make me dry and crampy and hard to train heavy and hard. With the keto already making me flat will introducing the clen and T3 have a detrimental effect. I know in the past pre contest preps I've done, I never really "felt" the clen unless I had carbs in my system. Does that mean its not working or just not heating me up or giving me the shakes. I am running anabolics as well of course....
my questions are....will they be effective with no carb diet? How should I run it with 8 weeks to go? and will it flatten me out too much with no carbs?
I will add taurine and ketotifin when I start the clen. Thanks in advance!

Do not go zero carb low fat you can do 60 40 protein fats keeping fats lower and protein slightly higher but with low fats you will not keto adapt instead you will train your body too use protein as fuel and when they become the primary energy source and your in a large deficit with t3 and clen while your muscle are flat your gonna be catabolic nightmare . you better be on a truck ton of tren and when you start smelling ammonia go carb up

Thanks for the input. I do refeed with carbs when needed. Was about once a week, but now about every 4-5 days to keep things going and fuel for weight training. As I get leaner I need more frequent refeeds. I just never really feel the effects of T3 or clen until I hit some carbs, then I get hot sweaty and shaky.
