Dave shocked me with his "opinions" in this video... Im not really sure if this is his honest take on this or response based on potential sponsorship from Redcon / his own feud with Shawn

Ok so with all the BS I have been reading about @dallasmccarver I want to clear the air. This picture right here isn't something to mock, laugh at, make fun of. There are more important things in life than just bodybuilding. Someone's life and health is way more valuable than any competition or first place trophy. Why am I making this post because I was in Dallas's shoes 2 weeks ago in Columbus except I collapsed as soon as I walked off stage where Dallas wasn't as lucky. As professional athletes we have a level of integrity we try to keep. No matter how bad we feel, sick we get, adversity we face, we put so much into dieting the last thing we want to do is give up. Fuck, we could probably get hit by a Mack truck and keep going. We have friends, family, fans, that come to see us compete, buy tickets to shows, airfares, hotels all just to support us to the last thing we want to do is let them down.
I saw Dallas start to collapse onstage I ran over to him and grabbed him, helped him backstage, I laid him down on the ground, his body started to convulse I thought he was seizing so I grabbed a small towel to stick in his mouth (anyone who knows about seizures knows why) as I grabbed his head he grabbed my hand. I said "Dallas it's Guy buddy, you gotta breath bud and relax!" He took 2 big deep breaths and his body relaxed, I lifted his head and made him drink some Gatorade. Then the medics came and gave him oxygen. After his body and mind came to, he threw up for almost an hour then was hooked up to IVs almost 2 liters worth. So why am I posting this? I'm not posting this to show what I did, but to show this mans will and integrity! He finally made it back to the men's dressing room still hooked up to IVs, sitting in the chair with the sheer look of disappointment on his face. After 20 minutes sitting there with his eyes shut, he turned and looked at me and goes "Am I still allowed to compete, i wanna finish this show!" I told him buddy you have nothing left to prove, you pushed yourself to the max and still kept pushing until you literally had nothing left. When he said he wanted to finish my respect for this kid went up 1000% because that's a fucking warrior! - _____________________
He fucked himself with diuretics and almost pulled Paul Dillet.... bronchitis did not cause this and it really seems like very lame excuse because as Bostin accurately says in his video Guy was there and he actually tells us what happened from his perspective. Dave is one of the most experienced guys in the industry and knows even better what happened.
And thats one thing... second thing is what Shawn actually wrote and that's where only Shawn Ray "hater" or someone close to Dallas can disagree. Shawn's analysis of DALLAS is 100% on. I'm not with him with Chad talk but what he says about Dallas is spot on.

Dallas put himself up there with all the hype to be knocked down. No better man than Shawn Ray to cut the legs off a bodybuilder to bring him down to size........Shawn's size about 5'5.
Whether Shawn was right, and I think a lot of what he said is right, he was being self serving and delivered his opinion in a way that was intended to cause maximum negative impact. Shawn was being Shawn.......a dickhead.
As for Dallas' bronchitis excuse I didn't buy it when I heard it first and I still don't. Bodybuilder collapse when they push it too hard to come in dry, we know this, its nothing new.
Dave doesn't seem to want to get involved and thats fair enough, let Shawn have his moment in the spotlight,.the asswipe spotlight.

I'll side with Guy Cisternino's backstage account and Bostin's Lloyd's insight into that. And yes, McCarver could very well have had respiratory issues as well. But if you're just taking Palumbo's word for it then you're calling Guy Cisternino a liar.

Is it really an either or situation? Can't they both offer their comments without the other being a liar? What I got from Cisternino's post is that he gained new respect for McCarver based on his response to being pulled off stage.
What did Dave say that contradicts that commentary?Facebook | Instagram | Twitter | Join Rx Muscle on Facebook!

This is what I was thinking too. That when you're sick with a respiratory illness and take diuretics (been there!), it'll be a massive mistake and make you sicker, not to mention if you take them on top of any beta 2 agonist (albuterol, clenbuterol) for respiratory ailments OR for weight loss, any cramps will be much worse. If Dallas had any kind of arrhythmia he wouldn't have gotten to the podium but I've mistakenly gone to work with bronchitis thinking it was just a bad cold.

I think Dallas really had bronchitis and was blowing it off trying to "get through the shows". Professionals do that sometimes . Usually when something goes wrong with diuretics, (even something mild with HCTZ/triamterene), there's a previous medical hx that or current unknown problem impacting the efficacy of the drug. No one should dehydrate when they're sick but when I was in my 20's I felt invincible too.
How does anyone know that maybe Dallas might have a mild asthma that flares up? Or mild pre-hypertension that bottomed out into hypotension? My first line of treatment would be IV fluids for that. We don't know his private medical problems that are contributing factors because it's none of our business.
