Would not be surprised... there are guys with incredible and freaky physiques at 150's. Me personally I am not a fan of more classes. I just dont see a point

I'm up for this. The IFBB professionalizes bantam weights & light weights who have ZERO chance of competing successfully, even in 212. These guys should have a shot at winning a show & furthering a pro career.

I think its a great idea, its definitely not gonna water down the sport. Most of the guys who are doing classic don't fit into the class. They don't have the shape. There is a ton of pro's out there who don't want to put there health on the line to try to compete in the 212. Then there are a ton who even if they did the kitchen sink still couldn't be competitive in the 212. Its not gonna cost the IFBB much to add the class, and I can guarantee they will draw a bunch of guys to thus class. The level of conditioning we would see would up there with the 212 and it gives these pros a stage to compete at now.

No. We've already had a discussion about some wanna-be f**k calling himself a 'Mr Olympia'. There are and always have been great 'little' bodybuilders. Then they stand next to a big and tall great bodybuilder and it's game over. That's why.

I just received a call from JM MANION and he informed me that his dad, PRESIDENT JIM MANION said he agreed 100% with my take on the subject and that there would be NO new IFBB Pro Weight Division. He confirmed that Classic Physique was created to fill that void!

get rid of classic physique which is stupid and make 185lb weight class....212 is already showing having a weight limit is producing amazing physiques and conditioning, a lower weight class would do the same....ppl are complaining that open competitors aren't showing up in shape, so give us some bodybuilders who will

for me. i think it may or may not work out. they cam out with cpd, last year for those who can't make the 212 class. we'll just have to wait and see how this works it's just me.

This is disappointing. Classic physique is not the same as bodybuilding. It doesn't permit the same posing, it doesn't permit the same trunks, & it doesn't have the same judging standards.
