Okay that's pretty much my thinking about that type of supplements (protein powder/ Conditionnned amino acids such as BCAA/ EAA). Useless if you have access to quality food that is far more complete than these sups. Whey isolate is convenient (and cheaper) for people though.
A question to you Dave : Why vegan protein isn't as good as whey protein according to you ?
When I mean Vegan protein I mean a protein that contain a mix of Brown Rice and peas (which makes all the essential amino acids presents in the right proportions). Or Quinoa protein powder.
I personally use an organic vegan protein powder with natural flavoring system. Only ingredients : Organic brown rice protein / organic chick peas protein / Bourbon Vanilla extract (natural), coconut sugar (small amount under 5g/100g). 0 fillers and artificial sweeteners. Natural flavoring system.
BTW : I'm not a vegan at all, I just digest this protein so easily and feel amazing on it.

The straw for me was a year or two ago he kept saying he uses scientific recommendations
So someone wrote in about superior cardio based on science....his response was along the lines of I don't follow scientific literature but everything I recommend is scientific, even though what he was saying had been disproven.....ummm...what haha that's not how it works
It's ok for someone to say imo or this is what I prefer but if what your saying isn't backed by science don't claim it to be
