DNUTZ's (Derek Lutz) crazy transformation - 80 lbs in one year
And his strength is absolutely insane and let me tell you right here... he has potential to be one of the best powerlifters in the world! From gym lifts I remember he's lifted this or even more:
Incline bench: 4,5 (help for 5th rep) x 405lbs
Seated shoulder press: 5x315lbs
Barbell rows (cheater rows): 5x455lbs (more strict that what you see from many top pros)
Squat: 700lbs
DL: 3x 700lbs
SLDL: 9x 495lbs
Derek's been member on BB forums for very long time. He has one of the best posts when he finds some time to post online. Big fan of ANIMAL (and also Universal Nutrition brand) and it blows my mind they dont see huge enough potential in him to sign him for at least some kind of a contract because I know they're watching him as they're friends with him more than just at social media. From people being active on boards Derek's the one guy who's making biggest progression right now.

I can understand the 80 pounds in one year, but gaining 6 inches in height at that age? Did I read that correctly?

My experience says no. He'd have to add 200-300lbs + to his squat for example and that's raw. 500+ in a suit. I've competed with guys who've placed (heck I competed against one who won) in the Worlds Strongest Man comp. Most were strong, athletic and seriously big on their teens.
