They've now posted the entire webcast over on BB.com's YouTube channel. It's a 360 view video, so you can turn the camera angle to whatever you want.

I actually went to watch it but when the guy at the front desk said $51, I said no thanks.
If I knew what to expect and it was something I really wanted to see, I would've paid it.
The unknown and standing around in a gym setting had me hesitant to part with my hard earned cash.

They appear to have removed the webcast.
Ha! Sponsored by Nike and who? I guess it wouldn't make sense to give the event away, but how do you build an audience without having spectators? And there's no mention of the event online anywhere. Wtf?Facebook | Instagram | Twitter | Join Rx Muscle on Facebook!

Hey if they weren't so fucking greedy I would've at least posted pics and gave my review of the event on the four or five forums that I frequent.

I saw some of the webcast replay on youtube and it was horrendous. There was no commentary or order or sequence to anything. It looked like a gym where more people were hanging around and talking than liting any weights. If that was meant to be the full event presentation it was a mess.
How does Dorian put his name to this? Did he not know how the event was going to be presented? Looks like he didn't do his homework.
They should have had individual lifts cordoned off and guys by weight class queuing to do a particular lift. As it was it just looked very random and impossible to follow especially with no commentary. It just looked cheap.Last edited by Big Beat; 07-31-2017 at 04:43 AM.

I tried to follow on the 360 video and found it to be a freakin' zoo. Agree with Big Beat, it looked cheap and unorganized. Not sure how anyone could be a spectator of the event.

Nike money (maybe they only donated free swoosh t-shirts) and Bodybuilding dot com organization skills (how many Olympias did they webcast?) and still they failed?
I'll be looking for positive reviews, but these comments aren't a great first impression.Facebook | Instagram | Twitter | Join Rx Muscle on Facebook!

This. First it'd didn't opt into 360 for me. Secondly, it looked disorganized. Someone was discussing the rules. I've promoted strongman events and refereed. From what I saw I could have done a better job. Heck, back in the day, MrU's had top fellas do shit on stage - Reg Park benching o-bars loaded to 100lbs. One in each hand - hell to balance.

Arnold's earliest press in the Weider mags in 1968 reported his height as 6' 1". You can buy the old issues off Ebay or read the reprints in the book West Coast Bodybuilding.

Never knew that, but have said before that he's shorter than me. Sure, twice as broad but he was shorter every time I posed for my souvenir Polaroid at the Arnold in 1989, 1990, 1991, and 1992.
I'll be 55 and am still holding at 6'1" so it's not because he had shrunk from 1975 to 1989 either. He's 6' at best. Otoh, he tops me at every single other category. -_-Facebook | Instagram | Twitter | Join Rx Muscle on Facebook!
