Conor McGregor vs Floyd Mayweater - August 26th
Who is going? I'm not rich enough to get tickets for this but I might be in Vegas for this one... finally we have a date. I am so happy for Conor. 4 years ago he had pretty much nothing... just his skills, courage and his brilliant mind.

Conor can't lose. I mean he will lose but it won't hurt him. Everybody knows in straight up boxing Mayweather wins but everyone also knows in any other format Conor kills Floyd. If Mayweather doesn't destroy Conor, Floyd loses. If Conor gets in a lucky shot and knocks Floyd out, Floyd loses.

It's not a fight...........it's a circus.
Wait for some big mma or boxing personalities building up Connor's chances. The hype will all be about this being a legitimate fight.
McGregor won't come within an asses roar of connecting with Mayweathers chin.
I can see it already:
Mayweather is over 40 years old.
Mayweather will have a lot of ring rust.
Mayweather won't win the mind games or trash talking.
Mayweather will not be allowed use over the counter test boosters.
Mayweather's hands are fragile.
Look how many times Maidans landed on Floyd.
Floyd has problems with southpaws.
It's all bullshit, when it comes to boxing generally you're first reaction on how a fight will go is 90% accurate as to how things turn out. Nobodies first thought is Connor has a chance. The hype men's job in the next few months will to be to put doubts in your mind about Floyd.

“It depends on how much the fight sells,” according to UFC president Dana White. “And if the fight sells as well as I think it can, Floyd makes a little north of $100 (million) and Conor makes $75 (million).
“He (Mayweather) feels like he’s the A-side and he should get more of it. We haven’t really gotten into that negotiation yet. I wanted to get McGregor locked in first, because McGregor is under contract with me. And at the end of the day, does this fight make a ton of sense for me? It really doesn’t. But Conor wants this thing really bad and I’ve said it many times, the kid’s stepped up and saved some big fights for me, man, so I’m in. I’ll figure it out.

Dana made those claims well before there were any deals made. All was signed yesterday and Conor's deal was finalized less than month ago. Yesterday Dana said (its up to anyone if you want to believe him but in this case - boxing - he would make a mistake if he lied) Conor will make 100M on this fight

I read it is a $300 Million fight.
I'd be surprised if Floyd did not negotiate the upside.

Latest coming out of the McGregor camp is they will be very happy if Floyd tries his usual tactic of doing a lot of holding and grappling.
Will McGregor turn it into a wrestling match? Floyd will want to pick the referee.
I'm just waiting for the trash talk to start.

Floyd takes zero risks so he will be happy to have a boring fight where he wins every round.
Floyd has rarely smashed anybody up and I can't see him using that approach now. McGregor couldn't hit Floyd if he threw a handful of rice at him.
This circus will be all about the build up and the trash talking, the fight will be an anti climax. It will all be about hyping up how Conor has a chance to win as I said above. Grappling tactics are just the start of it.

I'm hoping at the opening bell Conor roundhouse kicks Floyd and gets DQed. Then each side's corner jumps into the ring and a battle royaleo breaks out.
