Piana's Punishment? Iron Debate
IFBB Pro Gerald Williams joins a heated episode of Iron Debate, featuring Dave Palumbo, John Romano, and Chris Aceto.
The topic of Rich Piana's leaked voice mails (filled with racist overtures including repeated use of the 'n' word) has caused a major stir in the bodybuilding world, not just for what Piana said, but, the conversation that has taken place in the following week.
Over this past week, RXMuscle has gotten opinions from Lee Priest, John Romano, and received a message (read on air by Dave) from Lee Haney.
Let's hear from you! What do you make of what you heard on the voice mails? Should Piana be suspended from exhibiting at upcoming shows? Should retailers distance themselves from the 5% Nutrition line? Should Piana be forgiven for a transgression that took place a decade ago?
When in doubt, get bigger.

Unless any of the supposedly offended 'people of color' can honestly say they have never used the following words or indeed, thought them - cracker, honky, whiteboy, hick, redneck, et al - despite the fact that they might not have been taped using them, then they can take their judgments and fuck off.
And no, the 'n-word' (infantile that we must call it that) is not special - all of the above words are equal to it in that the intent is to disparagingly refer to someone of a particular race. The difference is whites generally couldn't give two fucks if blacks call us those words and certainly don't cry about it.Fill up the syringe...

I think RX are milking the topic to death. How many videos does this make?

Its about who has the power, who gives the jobs out, who gives the prison sentences out, who sells the guns, who shapes peoples opinions on race and who sells the news and opinion.
Most of the power is white. Slurs don't stop the powerful doing what they want to. It's not a slur to be called white because being white is being the same race as the powerful. Not that long ago whites had complete control of the black race, blacks never had any control over whites even in a political sense.

Much of what you speak of is ancient history.
Much of it is present and fully capable of being corrected by blacks themselves. For instance, prison sentences are generally not handed to out to innocent people -
if blacks stopped committing a disproportionate amount of crime relative to their population, there'd be less of that.
And, no, it's not a slur to be called 'white' nor is it a slur to be called 'black'. The slur is the 'n-word'. But both races refer to white trash as 'white trash' and no one bats an eyelid when minorities use that term. The 'n-word' refers essentially to 'black trash'. Just ask Chris Rock, when he said jokingly but I suspect truthfully, 'I love black people, but I hate n------'.
And so on.Last edited by Maniacal; 06-17-2017 at 06:39 AM.

RX needs to move the fuck on and get over this. I refuse to call it the n word like Dave and all these other pc pussies, just fuckibg say nigger instead of calling it the n word,if the blacks can say it why the fuck can't i?.
The blacks call white people derogatory names and we don't cry like little babies about it. We also don't riot everytime something doesn't go our way.

speech should not be punished its tyrannical and oppressive and actually fuels the issue of race. plus if it was a private conversation who cares.... im sure there are laws about secretly recording people without their permission. plus the amount of attacks hes had from people of colour for no other reason than hes developed his body. if black people kept punching me I would get pissed too. should he be punished? what is this the inquisition people who are pondering should he be punished should be punished.

eeerr who shapes people opinions on peoples race???? its those races andhow they typically and culturally conduct them selves shape the way other races see them. handing out jobs???? arnt all races equal enough to create jobs and industry for themselves? that in its self a fuel for such stereo types. as for white being being powerful as a race if you look at the statistics and the complete extermination of European cultures then you would know actually the vast majority are only second to blacks in terms of wealth power and success. not to mention socially politically whites are accepted punch bag for the rest of the planet. whites are considered evil and corrupt by every metric because they dared create a civilisation that has rose to dominance of the entire planet. there are so many things wrong with your blog big beat. all far left talking points haizzz how about something of your own opinion. how about thinking critically big?

I actually think Gerald Williams overshot his points of view and made this episode overly complicated...
What gives anyway, the gimmick that made this whole thing public on YouTube says that word in every sentence. Why isn't the self professed bad boy 'Trucc' held to account?

Piana's Punishment? Iron Debate
a very good debate... you may not like the content, but it's a lesson in how to have civil discourse.
Each person was given the space and time to articulate their points of view without interruption
Even when it got tense, it NEVER got personal and you left the debate with each one leaving without anger
There doesn't have to be another show on this because this one was done so well... The first two with Priest and Romano..not so much.
Still sad the episode has so many more dislikes than likes... it was a lesson in respect and civility, that gets lost on those who don't want to listen.
