The Least Likable Mr. Olympia Winner?
I'm going to poke a hornet's nest & ask you to consider three things before telling the rest of us who you think the least likable Mr. Olympia was or is.
1) You would not want to meet him.
2) You are not happy he won.
3) You would not attend a contest he was doing.
On that note, I will offer the first name:
Phil Heath.

You seriously don't think Phil Heath deserves his Olympia title?! You are being ridiculous. Heath is incredible. The Olympia is not a personality contest so your thread makes no sense. Its not like he won 'Mr america' where the contest was a beauty/physique/personality contest like miss America or something.
How about objecting to a strongman winning a contest because you don't like him personally. that would be as ridiculous as contesting an Olympia win based on the winner's personality.
PS you have a pic of Arnold as an avatar. He was (still is? don't know) very conceited. Remember when, on letterman, when letterman mentioned a mr o who broke his record, Arnold reminded letterman he is 'the greatest bbder of all time'? Arnold trashed everyone else and disrespected mr Olympia winners all the time. that doesn't mean he didn't deserve his wins.

I did not say Heath didn't deserve to win. Obviously he did. I said I would not like to meet him, wasn't glad he won, & wouldn't go to one of his contests.

Honestly I have no interest in meeting any of them. It's best never to meet people you admire.

Not really interested in meeting any of them.....but Dorian Yates carries himself in a way that I have no interest in hearing anything he has to say

I don't look up to bodybuilders or look to them for inspiration.
I do think some are cool guys and others are assholes. Phil does come across as a bit of arrogant prick but I dont think about him too much. I think he would look incredible if he never did the gh/insulin thing.
Arnold seemed like a bully back in the day now just trotts
out sound bytes like he's still a politician. I have no idea who Arnold the person is now. His Total Recall book was a fairytale.
A great live with would be Rick Wayne......he knows all the secrets.

Weird thread.
Seeing that I've met several Olympia winners, and I'm very good friends with one, I can't participate here.

Going in order from the most likable to least likable
Dorian Yates: Everything he says makes sense and he has that wry Brit humor.
Jay Cutler: Seem very personable
Ronnie Coleman: Funny as hell and a true genetic freak
Arnold Schwarzenegger: The man that put BBing on the map
Frank Zane: Seems likable and brought "cut" to a new level
Lee Haney: Seems wise and likable but says mess up stuff sometimes.
Chris Dickerson: seems a bit boring
Dexter Jackson: seems like an arrogant dick.
Franco Columbu: Many accounts of him being a dickhead nutbag (too bad too loved his physique)
Phil Heath: Childish arrogant dick. First Mr. Olympia to be such a dick no sponsor wants him.

The key here is we seem to want more of the athlete than what they do. Does Phil Heath have a great physique? Of course. He doesn't have to be a nice guy too.
That said IF he came across a little better he'd be more marketable, more likely to be on TV and in other media and so on. One thing Jay Cutler did which helped a lot was the series in his home. If Phil did something similar...06, 08, 09 and now 2010 British (4x) and 2008/2010 European Grip Champion (2x)

I met Phil when he was first up and coming, back when he was still sponsored by Met-RX. He was doing a guest posing in Rochester,NY and had just gotten to the venue, was obviously tired and hungry all I wanted was a quick picture with him and I would be on my way. But Phil actually started a conversation with me, asked me how training was going, if I knew any of the competitors on stage that day. We had a great convo and as a 17 year old kid got the courage to ask him how the hell he got his forearms so big. My mom snapped a photo after our convo and 10 years later I met him again, at the Olympia and showed him the photo. We had another great convo and he was again very personable. Phil acted "cocky" in generation iron and now everyone thinks he's a jerk.

I think a lot of people have a stigma about phil....ive never seen an arrogance from him like people claim
Dorian on the other hand comes off as a know it all....jay comes off really boring, like he's reading from a script when he talks, super vanilla
