Muscle gain on a vegetarian diet
Hi guys,
I am just wondering if there are any sample diets similar to that of Dave's keto diet but for vegetarians. I used to train many years ago and competed in men's physique in 2012. I want to get back into the gym and put on lean muscle but trying the vegetarian option. Does anyone have any experience with gaining muscle and losing fat with this diet? If so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Patrick,
A meat-rich diet isn't the only way to achieve muscle mass, there are so many other ways to get the necessary nutrients for building strong, healthy muscle and plenty of them are plant-based. Here is a list of Must Have Vegetables To Build Muscle And Strength Fast.
1. Beets
2. Broccoli
3. Kale
4. Potatoes
5. Spinach
6. Mushrooms
7. Garlic
8. Beans
9. Peppers
10. Avocado
11. Cauliflower
12. Soybeans
13. Butternut
14. Squash

Yeah, those are really rich ingredients for muscle building. If someone can exactly follow this can gain muscle for sure. Thanks!
