Best workout ever?
When was it? Where were you? Who were you with? What did it help you accomplish?

I'll jump in with a story from back in the day. I'd trained at home for some months and, having seen Pros could train outside at Worlds Gym Venice did a back workout on my mums balcony. The sports centre manager (it was next door) spotted me and told me to go see a fella called Ted Nuttall (and ex police officer). Ted and a few of the lads took me on. I remember he had me do lunges with a broomstick. He left me doing one leg and comes back 20 minutes later. Now he gets me to do the other leg... also for 20 minutes.
I had to use the wheelchair ramp, hold on to hand rails and my legs would have swore I was cutting them with razor blades for three days. Being a sick puppy here I am 38 years later lol06, 08, 09 and now 2010 British (4x) and 2008/2010 European Grip Champion (2x)

Agreed; overdoing it can be a good thing, as long as it doesn't cause injury or permanent damage. My best workout was actually an observation of someone else in the gym. He was waiting for some friends he was planning to work out with, & they were late. He started doing oblique twists slowly, & stayed with it for at least half an hour until his friends arrived. He had great abs. No surprise why.
