Normally, I don't defend RX Muscle....you guys know that. But the entire incident was not only petty but in my opinion with the police escort, intentional to cause embarrassment towards Dave. I believe Dave did ask for permission...no reason he wouldn't. Even then, send him back to the Press Box or in the audience....not completely out of the show

Similar thing happened to my webmaster, who was taking pix of the NPC Teen, Collegiate & Masters Nationals in the auditorium in July 2006. My webmaster was using a camera that the president of Repetrope Productions, who was videotaping the event for commercial release, recognized could also shoot video. Assuming my friend was shooting video (he wasn't), the Repetrope president complained to Jim Manion, who told the promoter to shut my friend down. My friend protested that he wasn't shooting video, but Manion had spoken. We were there trying to make more people aware of the contest; we used our own vacation time & money to get there. But the promoter said no, the NPC said no, & Repetrope said no. That was the last time we covered that contest.

As long as 1000’s of competitors buy their cards and pay their entry fees, the
NPC will not change. They don’t make their money off of ticket sales. They make there money off of competitors
