Hell Freezes Over!
Bing News has started a Bodybuilding section in its Sports links. I never thought I'd see it.

Social media is helping bodybuilding.
BB won't go mainstream, though, as long as the top guys are taking enough gear to kill a horse. That not an attractive proposition for teenagers.
The last time bodybuilding was really big Arnold was flexing on the big screen in the 80's.
I think maybe what Bing are getting at is there is a trend to have the fitness with muscle look, not necessarily bodybuilding.

Bing wouldn't put this up if there isn't a demand for it. I think it's there. Maybe it's the Planet Fitness crowd, but bodybuilders do work out there.
A few other possible factors:
The most controversial users of AAS in pro baseball (Bonds, McGwire) have no chance for the MLB Hall of Fame, but others who were strongly suspected of using (Rodriguez, Bagwell) have gotten in lately.
WWE hires a lot of people who do a lot of flexing in the squared circle, & that may be having an effect as well.
The relaxed laws on weed in a lot of states may also be changing people's minds about casual drug use.
The crossfit phenom, & WSM games, may also be relaxing some people's views.Last edited by hifrommike65; 01-07-2018 at 06:03 PM.
