ApparentlyThe Reason it took so long for Kamal Abdul to get his pro Card
THE LIES BEHIND THE TEARS
True facts about Mr Kamal Abdul Salam Abdul Rahman (Elgargni)
Based on the last statements made by this athlete on various video interviews at the Arnold Classic Ohio, where he blames the IFBB repeatedly and even mentioning names, the UKBFF wishes to inform that:
-The athlete Mr Kamal Abdul Salam Abdul Rahman was suspended a few times. First time was at the 2009 World Games in Kaohsiung and the second time was in December 2011 Pan Arab Games. His suspension was reviewed by WADA and Qatar Anti Doping Commission in 2013/2014 and in April 2014, his suspension was extended for a period of 8 years, by the Qatar Anti Doping Commission (QADC), in a resolution adopted by this body, due to multiple Anti-Doping Rule violations (see page 2 point 1of the attached document)
- the athlete has been insistently requesting a Pro Card and approval was denied by the IFBB, based no more, no less on this suspension, respecting the WADA Code and decision of the Qatar Anti Doping Committee and involved parties
- Mr. Kamal was fully aware of this situation therefore he is deliberately lying in public about his 5 year wait.
- Mr. Manion and Pro League were fully aware on the case, being informed several times by IFBB, last time in March 2017

To my knowledge, the international IFBB is drug tested & you cannot go pro without a clean test. After that, it used to be that you could go into pro IFBB shows that were not tested. Now that the IFBB has split & both parts have a professional qualification, I have no idea what the international IFBB President Santonja is requiring of those with "elite pro cards."

Shows what a joke WADA are for sanctioning bodybuilding as a drug tested sport.

Santonja's federation is corrupt, & has delayed pro cards until its promoters got payoffs. It was reportedly common for someone to qualify for a pro card & not get it for years without the payoffs. When these guys walk past a bank, the alarm goes off. If I were an international competitor, I'd be doing the IFBB Professional League pro qualifiers to jump that ship.

Ricardo Correia was denied his despite winning the British Championships .He finally gets it after waiting for years and bam! He's winning shows easily. His tally could have been higher if they hadnt wasted his years

Why is the UKFBB making a noise? UK as in where I live - United Kingdom aka Great Britain. When Kamal was here he was, as he seems to be now, a bit of a wunderkind. Plus, unless my memory plays tricks, he did Nabba too (hence UKFBB getting all snotty).
Qatar, among others, often paid / pay athletes (middle ranking guys who did well) more as amateurs than they'd ever get as pros. It's why a bunch of ripped middle weight dudes do real well over there.
And the whole '1 fkin pro card a year' thing for the UK is a fkin joke. There are comps in the US where, over the various classes, 10 (yes fkin TEN) pro cards get handed out. Not the US championships, Yet at the British ONE (and even then not always).06, 08, 09 and now 2010 British (4x) and 2008/2010 European Grip Champion (2x)

The "one new pro a year" was standard in the 1980s in the US, but it loosened up in the 1990s & now the IFBB is professionalizing a number of male bodybuilders each year (and a few female bodybuilders). Canada, the UK, & other places are still way behind on professionalizing bodybuilders, which is why they should be thinking of doing the pro qualifiers that Manion is staging all over the world.

Well there is a post on the other site showing a copy of a letter from the Qatar Federation which rubbishes the UKBBF's claims. Says they approached the Qatar doping agency who in turn approached WADA , the latter confirming that there are no existing doping violations and that the athlete does not have a ban in place.

This is why, honestly, bodybuilding should simply be considered an art form. Federations, WADA, drug testing, pro cards? Ridiculous other than from a for profit sense.
Patrons could support their favorites just as patrons supported artists like Michelangelo. The bodybuilders who place 16th will simply have to work a regular 9-5 job or arrange some other way to stay competitive.Facebook | Instagram | Twitter | Join Rx Muscle on Facebook!
