Think of your body the same way you think of your car. When you need an oil change, you get it changed. When you need new tires, you get new tires. If your car has a flat tire, would you continue to drive your car and ruin the rim, axle, etc.? Of course, you wouldn’t.

So, when you’re injured, why would you continue to train that muscle? Other muscles, tendons, etc. can be negatively affected in the same way the rim and rotors would be affected driving on a flat tire. It’s called maintenance...
