Jenna, Aspiring Competitor
Hey RX muscle forum,
My name is Jenna and I'm aiming to compete in figure and bodybuilding again. Competing has been a passion of mine. I competed 3 years ago in my first bikini show and placed 4th. Though I was really disappointed with my results, I loved the spirit of competing and how it felt when I stepped on stage, and I embraced every second I spent getting my body ready.
I had to stop competing because of personal reasons and between then and now, I didn't take care of my body as much as I should have and this was the absolute worst of it:
It was then that I decided I needed to change.
So I put everything I had to dedicating to my fitness and this is today's result:
I am 5'6", 131 lbs.
Though I am very proud of my hard work, I'm still longing for my figure from near the early years of high school:
I joined this forum to meet like-minded people and future competitors and hopefully get some useful advice and encouragement from the more seasoned pros. Thanks for listening!Last edited by JennaM; 06-01-2018 at 01:29 AM.

Welcome to the forums, Jenna!
Any more that you can tell us about your show and training? Do you have a show picked out? Will you use a coach or coach yourself? Training frequency? Favorite body part to train?2016 RX Member of the Year & March 2015 Member of the Month

Thanks! And yes!
I'm aiming to compete in the 2019 Nashville Fit Show. I've been working with a great coach for about 3 months now. I train 2 hours a day, 4 days a week. Abs are by far my favorite body part to train because I focused on cutting down my stubborn stomach fat when I first started making this comeback.
