I’m familiar with gene editing tools such as CRISPR, CRISPR-CAS9, snd SiRNA. They weren’t available back in the day (17 years ago) when I was working in a startup company in Baltimore but my former boss IS using them now in his therapeutics research. Makes me wish I was still a chemist.
When applied correctly, they can do a mountain of good. Misused, as with anything else, they can do more harm than good.2016 RX Member of the Year & March 2015 Member of the Month

I hate to doubt progress, but genetic engineering is so complex that these fly-by-nighters (some without college degrees) scare me.
