Phil Heath should have been 3rd or 4th after Friday night a few times. There was one year where he was a clear winner immediately and no one deserved a callout with him based on a lack of conditioning and some guys holding water, but has never been voted down and had to earn his way back on Saturday night on years he was off. That's why no one like him as a competitor. As a business guy he has no charisma and is fake and uninspirational. He's jealous, defensive and insecure. He's not a successful brand. He's had a regressing physique for five years. He refuses to hype to Olympia, the one show he competes in every 365 days. He no longer adds anything to the sport. It's too bad the best young physiques are more worried about being appealing to Instagram chicks they want to bang instead of putting on the 50 pounds they need to destroy these open class geriatrics.

    Fair points.

I only think Phil should have been outside the top 2 once, and there were at least two shows he blew the field away, not just one. 2011, 2013, and 2016 where not close. I agree with most everything else. Although in regards to the point about hyping the O, no Mr Olympia has done that. At least not in a very long time.

Jay Cutler drinking his pitchers of orange tang was all the hype I ever needed.
