Peak week and carb load less than 24 hours.
Hello everyone!
First thread here and i need some help.
Im gonna have my very first competition on nov 17 saturday with the weighin on friday. The weighin start at 12pm until 19pm and my contest starts at 10am on saturday.
Im following a 60-30-10 diet, with great success!
I dont want to change anything as Dave always said, but im not sure about carbload...
I did test refeeds. On junk i fill out quick but after 12 hours i get really bloated and watery. Now with a clean load i can handle 800g of carbs in a 24 hour window easyly, but maybe i look the best after 600g, but i need 22-23 hours to fill out with clean carbs (if i sleep 6-8 hours).
What would you guys recommend? When to cut water to depletion and how to carb up?
Thanks for the help!
If something is not completely understandable im sorry for that, english is not my main language.

Thank you man!
I read the whole pdf. Its a informative study none the less, but i knew the reasons of a peak week and the strategies.
A gurutalk episode Dave, Ameen & Milos were talking about a 24 hour carb load with high GI, sugary foods, (tons of them) but there was the insuline load factor... Since i dont use gh nor insuline i want to be careful with a high gi load, i dont want to spill over!
I wanted to get some tips with a "dirty" load, but im gonna stick to clean carb load, i can time that well. My weight will be fine as it looks like now, so i can start loading early.
Anyway, thank you very much for the article. I definetly learnt a few extra things, like vitamin C load. Thank you!
