I have enough unexpected/forced time off with my family circus that I don’t plan a specific week off. Even if I didn’t have the fam, my osteoarthritis is better off NOT taking an entire week off. The most I’ll take off is 2 consecutive days

It always helps me out with recovery to take some time off especially if I have been hitting it months on end without any breaks. One week off could do you good. You will most likely look better, feel better and be just as strong if not stronger when you go back to training.

Thanks guys. I'm consuming 5 meals. Just want to go easy and really pay attention to water I must drink. So ease into it gradually and make sure stretching is done before & after with gallon of water by me. Believe you me when I say this, I wanna attack with vengeance, but it's time to use my head & listen rather than go crazy.
Oh & let's not forget guys, nervous system needs a rest so I'm just staying patient and once it's time, start listening & focus on muscle mind connection & again stay fully hydrated.
1 more day off & it's go time for me. Let's get it

Na not really sexy beast. it's just people amped up to go workout, and the excitement of training that makes you think you're moving up in the gym. Truth be told, if you calm that excitement down a notch and set a realistic goal and train 4 days rather than 5 and not I repeat NOT hit failure every time you work out. Doesn't matter if it's last set of each exercise or every set of every exercise. Failure every 2 weeks for that week then the rest of the week 75-80%. Less volume more rest & guess a monster is coming.moo ha ha haaa!!!

Take the week off PFA. Do some cardio and ease up on the eating. Throw in some fasting even.

No fasting for PfA. He doesn’t want to drop below 300 lbs. ;-)

Ok real talk. Nough with the lol bullshit.
Got back in my groove. Like I said been hitting 6 week program, 3 weeks down. Missed a week so finishing right where I left off.
Again my incline max is 300 since been off 5.5 weeks off the vitamin T. Ahmm. So calculated my 1 rm at 300 did my medium heavy day today and wasn't bad. 80% of 1 rm which was 245 on incline. Incline was up high not low. Was supposed to do 4 sets so warmed up & first 2 sets were 5 & 5. Last 2 sets were 4 & 3. So hit all my numbers. Felt good but went down to chin. So must work on getting depth. Below chin almost touching chest.
2 days rest and its going to be 1x 90% of 1rm. So 270 for 5sets. Once 6 weeks is up 90% should be 280 & 1rm should be 310 off allllll gear.i think 315 for 1rm no gear is phenomenal. Plus weights down. 3 shakes & 2 meals for 5 meals per dayLast edited by Poker face Ace; 06-29-2019 at 08:58 PM.
