    Question Judges slot competitors?

Do judges slot competitors in pro shows? Ed Pariso says so. He said it in a film featuring Branch Warren. While Branch was doing what the Germans call "formchecking" in a mirror room, Ed & Betty were talking to him & Ed mentioned that it was difficult for a pro bodybuilder to get out of a particular place (say third place) because the judges go from show to show, & they tend to slot the competitor in that place. Unless competitors come in dramatically better or worse than they previously did, the judges tend to keep competitors in the same slot in show after show.

My question is this: do you think he is right?
