About that...
A Virginia pastor who defied warnings about the danger of religious gatherings during the pandemic and vowed to keep preaching “unless I’m in jail or the hospital” died over the weekend after contracting Covid-19, his church said.
The pastor, Gerald O. Glenn, 66, the bishop and founder of New Deliverance Evangelistic Church in Chesterfield, Va., died on Saturday night, according to Bryan Nevers, a church elder.
Mr. Nevers announced the death of Bishop Glenn during an Easter sermon, which was posted on the Facebook page of the Richmond-area Pentecostal congregation. He said that Bishop Glenn had transitioned from labor to reward.

The data is showing if you’re 25 and under the flu should be more of a concern to you than coronavirus. If you’re under 65 and healthy the data shows you’re chances of death or serious illness are low. The data also shows for people over 65 and those with other health conditions coronavirus is extremely dangerous. The number of cases is up because we continue to raise our testing capacity. The total number of positive tests doesn’t tell the story. It’s total positives in relation to the total amount of tests given along with the number of server cases and deaths.
People need to decide what level of risk they can take and live their lives accordingly. Being informed, prudent and cautious is good. Being reactionary, ignorant and fear peddling does more harm than good.

Sorry to hear that but he is an statistical outlier. Unless the chance of something is 0% than there is a chance it will happen. That’s why I said people have to decide what level of risk they are comfortable with taking. Risk assessment is something people do every day whether they know it or not. Its impossible to live a life 100% safe.
Almost 39,000 died last year in car accidents but people still drive. That’s is an example of a risk assessment almost everyone takes. Air travel is safer than automobile travel by far but there are deaths and those deaths are outliers. People still fly.
People should live there life according to whatever amount of risk they’re comfortable with having understanding you can never escape consequences of any sortLast edited by BananaHammock; 05-23-2020 at 04:46 PM.
