Lena Johannesen's first show in EIGHTEEN YEARS

Lena Johannesen has not stepped on stage since 2004. Figure was literally just getting started at the time. This weekend, she stepped on stage at the 1st-ever IFBB Masters Pro World Championships. She took 6th in Figure Masters over 40 and 2nd place in Figure Masters over 50. To me, she brought a better look today than she did back in 2004! To comeback and do a show after nearly two decades away from it AND having kids as well is pretty cool to me.

Lena's comeback tour continues next weekend. She will be competing at the Tampa Pro. I'm not sure if she will be doing open, masters or both. Either way, I'm glad that last weekend won't be the last we see of Lena on stage.

I know, right?! So happy that the masters divisions exists because they are killing it right now!BTW, she will compete in the Figure Over 50 category. It was confirmed on the IFBB Pro site today.

Forgot to post an update on Lena. Apparently Lena’s Masters Worlds show was not a one-off for Lena at all as she competed at the Tampa Pro Masters Figure Over 40 division and placed 4th. She plans to compete again next year!
