I’m very anxious to see how Dan does at the show. I have always thought he comes in solid to contests, but continues to get over looked at the shows. I wish him luck at the show and hope he tears it up!!!

I have talked to dan sporadically over the past year and he has been killin it in the gym since last year. I just saw him not to long ago and he looks SHREDDDDDED and he hasnt even pulled water yet!
I hope the judged will notice all the changes he's made to his body. He's been doing this for too long. Like last year when he got 3rd place and Jeff Long got 2nd place = GAY.
Jeff Long went on to nationals to place like 97th and Dan went back to the gym with his already striated triceps (lol) and killed it for 10 months.

Hey Jeff, Thanks don't know if I was over looked at the Nationals 6th place was actually very good considering how tough our class was last year with Mike, Mark, Big Jason, Smalls. I really think they were spliting hairs there. A little more size and I really believe I could have pushed anyone there. I have that size this year and I'm really looking forward to this one. But talk is cheap so I just have to bring it.

Thanks DrSalmon, I think you were reffering to Jrs last year. Jeff came looking his best to date at that show. Jeff is a great up and coming bodybuilder with a bright future. Jeff had me beat because my conditioning was off due to a lack of cardio which I'm finding I can't get away with like I use to in my Musclemania days. I got my act together by nationals and came in shredded and looked much better.

I am a BIG fan of dans. so let me start by saying that this is NOT a dig by any means..... BUT while I think dan has a great body and looks great in photos, I think his stage/ somp posing needs work. Dan, I am wondering if you have worked with anyone of youre size (longer limbs, etc.) on posing. I think you could have come in as high as 4th at nationals if you had posed for your body just a bit better. examples..
seems like you fold up and "roll in" a bit on your FDB. This works fine if you have shorter length shoulder to elbow but I think you need to open up

again long torso= bad idea to fold over

I know these are just a few shots but I promise I have seen you at many shows and you SHOULD be placing higher. PLEASE take the time to get with a good coach (which I am not) and GET IT this season. your physique is one of the most marketable on the national stage and you can only do good for the sport by going further

I've worked with different guys over the years. Everyone seems to have a different opinion. I can say my posing seems to get better from show to show. Judges always told me my posing is good, but I know it's a game of inches and things can always be better. Actually, I didn't think that front double looked too bad but the ab shot does look bad but it's always hard to tell from the timing of the pictures too. I think for the most part I've just been getting slightly out massed by a little shorter guys.
