Are you talking about taking it onboard to consume on the airplane, or just taking it in your checked bags for use when you get to your destination?
I regularly take a whole jug of protein in my checked bags. I never take it on the airplane because I never really thought about it, but if you need protein on the plane just take a couple bars.

I never buy my protein/supps when i arrive WAY more expensive at stores then ordering on line
i bring in ziplocs: protein, karbolyn, noXplode
I even bring all my fish/chicken for the week when i go to okc cuz no costco and i be damned if i am paying grocery store prices
so my last trip my carry on had 50 3oz baggies of cooked chicken, 8 bags of frozen orange roughy, several baggies of cooked steak. I do as carry on since it weighs so damn much my cked bag would go over the 50lb. I put it all in one of the $4 hot/cold bag (stay frozen for hours)
TSA did search that one and test for explosives ya exploding chicken

just put it in your checked bag, it'll cost like $15 to check a bag so thats less than buying it there and u don't have to deal with the hassel of them thinking ur tryin to blow something up... grab a couple bars for the flight and you'll be good

either way, they should have a powder scanner at the airport, i know everytime i fly out of toronto they do. I leave it in the 2lb jug in my carry-on, they take like a teaspoon and scan it and tell me im good to go. I put a shaker in my carry-on as weel and ask for water on the plane. works everytime for me.

I've taken lots of supps on long trips with me. Whey, creatine, BCAA, etc... never had any problems with any of them. I kept the stuff in containers, except for what I was actually going to consume during the flight. They never questioned any of it. What they did flip out on is me forgetting to finish my bottle of water before passing through.

Nope, 100mls, regarless of how pretty sure you are. A simple google would have given you that answer, too.
