Fascia that surrounds the muscle can act to limit its size
If I were to develop an intramuscular hematoma in my quad, this would obviously lead to a lot of swelling and therefore expansion of the fascia. Since it is possible to have a very significant degree of swelling in a short amount of time, doesn’t that suggest that fascia is not restrictive, especially since hypertrophy generally occurs a a much slower at a much lower volume than an intramuscular hematoma could?
This particular type of stretching [elongation] targets the superficial part [surface layers] of the muscle(s) and its attachments.

On FST-7 now and loving it. Made some great gains within a few months. Considerign trying DC and then maybe some mix and matching depending on how it effects each muscle group but FST-7 is easy to be motivated for. Leaving the gym with awesome pump is the best way to leave the gym.

Stretching BEFORE workout? Doesn't that make you weaker and susceptible to more injury? I actually have been working out like this for a long time, now it has a name I suppose. The only difference is the pre-workout stretch.

ive been doing fst for the 6 weeks and ive done lots of differant methods of training before and it must be said my physique is changing (for the better) before my eyes,my diet is similiar and cardio is similiar to before yet im getting more muscular and im getting leaner,so win win! fst-7.com is a very informative site and if you do it right and give it at least 6-8 weeks i bet you wont be complaining

Does anyone have the specific FST-7 routines? I see the suggested routines Future posted from Hany was 3 working sets per exercise. I may try this out after I finish doing DC for 6 weeks.
NVM, i just registered on fst-7...
Has anyone gotten great results with fst-7?Last edited by hulkish808; 02-18-2009 at 02:22 PM.

hey guys i was just wondering if the first 3 exercises could be switched between any compound exercises and the the last one that is done for the "7's" can be any isolation movement?
