Default Major rift about H.I.T. certification program

Just was on Drew Baye's site and he "literally" ripped Chris Lultz' training certification program.

I was formally endorsed by Drew, and other HIT advocates from other sites.

It will interesting to see the fallout.

I was watching Mike Mentzer's underground seminar again, and he made a point that reverse grip pulldowns(RGLP) were the best bicep developer because it works the bicep from both attachment points.

I've been looking at some HIT routines as of late that do not incorporate ANY bicep curls at all. If you have a RGLP and a rowing movement such as a cable row, they seem to think that hits the biceps enough - if done HIT style.

Is there literature out there suggesting RGLP better?

High Intensity Interval Training, better known as HIIT, is one of the best ways to lose fat while keeping your all-important muscle. HIIT uses fast-paced training intervals combined with short rests to maximize you heart rate and metabolism. The HIIT workout can keep you burning fat well after the exercise is completed "What is DXF?".

I used HIT while dieting last year and really liked it for that aspect. The hardest thing for me was the 1 set deal, Even though i would be pouring sweat and be toast for 10 minutes i always felt like i had more in me for another set. Awesome program though i saw very good strength gains after adding in drop sets, pumps were ALWAYS sick too!

This style of training is absolutely the best. I have grown tremendously and keep growing.. I have been training with a guy out here in Phoenix with an awesome nautilus club. We got to ABSOLUTE FAILURE no more than 5-6 sets depending on the body part. great post, check out the website for other cool training info. and HIT styles: http://www.highintensityheadquarters.com/

Great workout routines... I especially liked routine which was offered by Dr. Ken Leistner. I will try to use it by myself and I will see how it goes. I want to develop my muscular strength.

it is still considered appropriate for athletes due to the fact that they can typically train harder.

Great stuff Shawn. Agreed about Dan Riley. He has been a heck of a strength coach for the Washington Redskins in the past and his program helped win 3 superbowls.
