Monster Traps
I want monster traps!!!!, my traps are ok, its not like i have flat shoulders but i want them up to my ears , my fav exersices are upright barbell or cable rows and barbell shrugs, front and behind. Now i can do these with very heavy weights with good form but they wont go as big as i want, i have tried doing even more weight and less reps and lowering the weight and higher reps. They seem to get a better pump when i am doing lateral raises for my shoulders, any tips???

You could also try hitting them twice per week, my traps seem to recover really quickly and I could hit them twice a week if I wanted to. Also, if your traps are getting really pumped when your doing side laterals your probably going too heavy.Your traps are always going to be involved to a certain degree but its very easy for your traps to take over the whole movement when your doing side laterals to help get the weight up.

I train them twice a week m8, im going on here like i have nothing there, thats not the case, they are there and growing just not at the rate of other body parts. I recently changed my side laterals from fairly heavy dumbells with my body leaning forward and sort of swinging my arms up with them in a bent position ( its hard to describe) but now i use alot lighter weights and bring my arms up almost straight with a much slower movement and i do them sitting sometimes

no one said you were on anything.just giving my 2 cents.i think as you gain size through out your entire body they will come up to.keep it up.

am getting confused, i thought pinning them was injecting staight into them?? am going to bed now anyway, i dunno what time it is in america but its 3:30 am in scotland so sleepy time

My traps always grew best when I would do heavy weight but hold the contraction for a second or two. Some people just shrug the weight without attempting to have their traps hold the weight up.
