i think its stupid his excuse is it wasnt illegal in his day
so what? who cares its still a chemical enhancement, its not like he didnt know that
personally? steroids should be open game in any pro sport, keep em out of the college and high school levels but if you go pro, your whole objective is to be the very best in the whole fucking world, and win, and win consistently, if steroids help, it should be just fine
there pros, they get paid millions to do it, there not your local YMCA

i don't agree kids should be using steriods, unless it is medical reasons. However, an adult should be able to decide for himself to use it or not. Just do not abuse it.
AS far as Arnold goes.. prob politcal pressure for his statements.

For starters he could use his position to underscore that steroids aren't the "great evil" that everyone makes them out to be. Too much money is thrown down the drain on witch hunts like the international bust of British Dragon. During a time of recession we flew 30 DEA agents to Thailand to bust 2 guys!?!?!? Come on man.
Second if he really felt that strong about it he can take his profits from the Arnold Classic weekend..........all of them and put them to use in a steroid information campaign.
He seems to have 0 problems with making a profit from athletes who obviously and knowingly use steroids but when it comes to interviews and so on he throws them under the bus in the blanket of "when I did it, it wasn't illegal". Well the good majority of baseball players being made scapegoats and targets were using at a time when it wasn't illegal in baseball so now where is the argument?
When I started using Andro it wasn't illegal but as we all saw how that went. Its just a matter of time as they continue to chip on everything that they feel is steroid like with 0 proof of the dangers.
So unless someone with influence that can speak intelligently on the subject steps forward and tells the entire truth with documentation or at least first hand knowledge to back it up we will continue to be villianized in the mainstream public with cries of "roid rage" and every other negative stereotype that is involved with usage.
Thats what HE can do.

Believe me, Arnold is republican in name only. He's a democrat thru-and-thru. His only republican stance is on business and how to tax business....and that because he owns several businesses. Otherwise, his position on abortion, gay marriage and gay lifestyle, religion, welfare, etc, is definately left and democratic.

The thing is it only takes ONE to start the conversation. How many times have you been in a class or seminar and the speaker asked if there were any questions and for about 2 minutes of asking "are you sure there are no questions?" one brave soul finally ask a question. After that everyone in the room seems to have a question. It wasnt that they didnt have a question before it was that they didnt want to be FIRST.
Once someone with a position of authority starts the conversation trust and understand that there will be more conversations. I really wish I could find out how many lawmakers in Washington are on HRT. The number would be staggering to the average American but to us in the know it would be pretty normal.
How many of them would stop if they called it what it is, Steroid Therapy. They give it a name to make it acceptable to the ignorant public. But if just one Congressman or Senator came out and said "hey I have been on Test for about 10 years and I feel great, have great sex and my bodyfat stays in check along with a clean diet and exercise" that would open the door for the rest of the aging hypocrites to ump in on the band wagon.
Its kind of like being a pioneer in a certain field. Take coaching for example. The first Black head coach of the NFL Fritz Pollard didnt see the benefits of his milestone, the ones that came after him did. If Arnold opened the door about the discussion and more followed they would at least make Americans aware that its happening more than they would ever imagine.
