Close stance with knees facing straight forward on either squat or leg press. Leg press keep your feet down low instead of high.

For the tear drop ass to grass squats (back or front), or about shoulder width leg press with feet angled and knees out a bit and deep with low foot position.

    DITTO.

IMO this is the best movement to develop a solid quad sweep. Mine have improved greatly.

For inner sweep where the bulk of the quad mass resides do moderately wide stance squats to only parrallel. Going too deep can ruin the knees.

For outer sweep do close stance hack squats or leg presses.

No secrets really, just hard work and consistency!

You are kidding me right, with that going to parralel nonsense,it has been proven full squats are safer, and more effective for overal muscle growth.

Now in one sense I have to agree that when you go below parralel ,you are recruiting the glutes and hamstring more overall.

However if you want serious leg mass (outer sweep or otherwise)dont be a pussy, and go ATG.

I strongly disagree about ATG being safer on the knees ansd lower back but I do agree that half squats are lame.

Do hack squats...the reason I am referring this is that in regular barbell squats the pressure in distributed on other parts as well apart from your thighs...it goes to calves butts...back. Doing hack squats will only target your thighs. I think hack squats and leg presses build better thighs then regular squats....unless for ego you just want tell your friends that you do heavy squatting
