    this will sound odd but double check with your local npc b/c some shows like for everyone to use the same pose and don't like this one to be used in the front or back lat spread...it's such a strange thing to type out but it's true!


    have you tried with that first shot with going more with a wider angle with the leg that's open? instead of mostly to the front? I'd be curious to see how that would look...I'll see if I can find a shot to demonstrate it...

    Gymdiva took it right out of my mouth. tis is a great shot on me too...however in the federation i compete in they CALL out one leg extended. And in some NPC shows the will call for it a certain way, or expect you flat footed otherwise..I would check first, but DEFINATLEY get this pose perfected for your routine either way...it is a great X frame shot for you!!!

    HUH???? Very good input ladies....I do believe that I should be able to do the x frame pose from the front, the back however I dunno about...I have not even tried it from the back, so I will just keep at it from the front. WHen I take pics again this Sat I will try both poses again but with the suggestions I have been given and post them up again.

    I think I am good with my other poses, it is just this one that is driving me crazy!

    I was having difficulty with the front double bi as well.....deciding if I should bring my arms high or leave them leveled straight across....so maybe I will post those then as well to get that critique.

    I have been training since late 2005.

    I started in Figure. This will be my very 1st attempt on stage as a FBB

    I have a JOURNAL/BLOG on my site(my signature)...along with my history/bio/pics/videos/etc.....

    Just may not have time to post them till next Mon, as Mon/Tue is MY weekend.....ONLY drawback to LawEnforcement....very rarely do I ever see a REAL weekend!!!!!!
