a freak a true freak. what caused the cramping John? Ive witnessed some cramping at shows but nothing close to that level! Poor guy had to be carried off, seriously no one can ever comprehend the lengths that these athletes go through to reach that level of conditioning.

Paul was a guest on NBR and him and John talked about what happened.

I was in the audience that night, and watching Paul slowly come apart on stage was scary. It took a while, he didn't just suddenly freeze up. Nothing funny about it.
Dillett was always wonderful with the public at shows and signings. He was polite and quiet. Go into the MD radio shows archive and find his interview with John and Dave; he's thoughtful and has a great sense of humor and perspective.
I'd rather remember the time I watched Paul, Ricco McClinton and Chris Cormier work out together at Gold's Venice Beach (I think Charles Glass was directing traffic). Later when I walked to the Firehouse to eat, they were there, and that was theater! Watching them consume giant aluminum bowls of rice and chicken breasts, then order additional chicken, was hilarious. They were having a ball... all three were there when I arrived, I took my time, and they were still eating when I left an hour or so later. It as amazing...

His traps weren't very big. He was definitely a monster however.
It's odd that someone can attain that size and now be able to flex some their muscles.

FREAK!
I have nothing but respect for Dillett. Sure, he couldn't show his physique well, and suffered for it, but the man was an absolute monster.

just curious,
who always takes it upon themselves to change the title to all these threads??
ive never seen that before on a msg board, maybe they did it over on md ( i wasnt on there very much ) but on any other board that i go to they dont do that shit.
it kinda defeats the whole "freedom of speech" thing this board is supposed to have. If people want the title changed let them do it themselves.
mods, dont abuse the buttons that you have. Please, it will ruin the board.
