I dont like when women have huge traps...I would train them here and there before...now I train them but not so heavy and I keep my eye on them... traps is important on the back side for a well developed back and that is what I need most to balance out my physique which is why I added them to my routine...

I say no. I think its a TERRIBLE look for a woman, and you usually hit them just a little doing back or delts anyway...
Those in relationships with problem partners often fail on the side of 'too much empathy' and give them more credit for not having these symptoms than what is warranted.

I USED to, they developed more than they probably should have, so I stopped. Now I feel I get enough stimulation from any DEAD lifting work I do. I would think it is more of a personal preference...also depends if they actually NEED the priority.

My traps are huge and I honestly love them. Its a personal preference of course. Aesthetically, traps should not overpower the delts and should obviously flow proportionately with back development. My training is sport specific so I hit traps on a daily basis. Adding high pulls, upright rows and a shrug at the end of the second pull of the deadlift will hit the traps indirectly and that should be quite sufficient for a female bodybuilder.

I train them. But I don't increase weight quickly. I'll stay on the lighter side as I don't want them too big.

Just depends on your body and the look that you want for yourself.

I think thick traps - even on smallish women - are hot as hell, but you might not want me to think that you're hot.

I like them on most women. I train them.

Your traps are literally 1/3 of your back. Upper traps, inner back...it would look comical if you had NO TRAPS....so...the answer to that is it depends on your overall symmetry and what your body currently looks like. Also depends on your height (again, overall symmetry and balance) and how narrow/wide your shoulders are.

Bottom line -- for a balanced physique you need traps - but it's a case by case basis how much effort you should put into that particular body part.

Training is one thing over development is another. And i think it depends on the physique - if its a blockyish physique, then yes, a little more trap development can help show a more muscular look, if its a vtaper high ribcage, small waist long leg physique, then dont highlight the traps by over development.
