anyone catch Lee Priests comments about Phil Heath in his section where he talked about how it's pretty ridiculous for him to compete just once this year? Who agrees with that? I definitely do, I think it's horseshit that we only get to see some of these guys once a year

Some people compete once a year because they are concerned with their longevity, health, and making noticeable gains competition to competition.

Last I checked, getting into true contest shape is no walk in the park. You don't get an extra prize for doing the most shows in a year. if anything, you may end up like Cormier or Wheeler and simply burn yourself out or suffer from some severe health problem.

Being shredded with every last drop of water squeezed out of you isn't exactly healthy.

If he comes in and beats everyone else, no one is going to be talking shit about his once a year competing.

He does guest posings and competes in the contest he sees as the most important. That is ALL a pro bodybuilder has to do. He hasn't exactly become a recluse and hidden away from all cameras. His pics have been out there of him in the off season and the progress the man has made is nearly on the same level of Kai's.

If not competing in every contest is what has helped him blow up like that, then he needs to ignore everyone on the internet telling him to do otherwise.
