I tried 7-10 iu post wo in the 90s, got fat. I've recently been givin a bottle of Humulin R and am curious as to the best way to use if I do. It seems that most people use/used the Humalog.

Im curious to how good the results would be if you were to take your pwo insulin with a stack of testosterone, hgh,and igf-1 taken at seperate times of course. Anyone have any personal usage with a stack like that? Id be interested to see the progress one would make on a cycle like that.

What's the best timing of Humulin R preworkout?
Is the gains worth it combined with AAS? I'm looking at 6iu max to use preworkout starting at 1iu 3-4 times a week. I workout 5 days a week.

I think some of the benefit to running insulin with test/aas and gh is that aas tends to desensitize you to insulin as time goes on. So, with insulin use (my fav is pre-workout) you don't get that, instead, if used properly, you get a 25-33% greater overall gains- providing you are going for mass.
My experience with post workout slin was that I got fatter and held more water. With pre-workout (along with proper shake- dextrose, bcaas, creatine etc.) I got tighter and slightly more lean (with same diet and training). But, it wasn't until the ius got up to around 7+ that I really saw noticeable gains. Though, I'd highly recommend anyone take that progression slowly. Don't just jump on 6-10 iu your first time out!!! (not that anyone here would, just saying, in case some newb might read this on the net during a search or something)

After reading this article for a while the preworkout insulin sounds like a much better route. What is you meal like prior to training? Ive been using 4iu pwo for about 2 weeks and tomorrow I think im going to try pre. So its a balanced meal about 1 hour before training, humalog taken IM 15min bf training, then the shake with dextrose, bcaas, creatine. Do you slowly consume this shake over the course of the workout? Are there any immediate carbs consumed directly after the injection? Sorry for all the questions its just very interesing.

Yes, I do have a whole food meal within 2 hours before the workout, just something relatively clean- lean ground beef on wheat or chicken breast and baked potatoe whatever works. Humalog 15 min prior to training and I start drinking the shake (sipping) immediately post injection and throughout the workout. Whey (50 grams) and little dextrose (20 grams) post workout. Then, a whole food meal 1 hr post workout- same as before, just relatively clean. This meal is important to me as I'll have a crash even 3-4 hrs after injection if I don't have this meal! Not a bad crash, but noticeable. I make sure to get this meal in!

Is there a better type of carb to use with the preworkout insulin? Waxy Maize, Dextrose, Maltodextrin, Karbolyn? Mixture?

I found that, results wise, waxy maize and dextrose seemed to work about the same. But, taste wise, dextrose wins hands down! As long as it is quick digesting, it will be fine imo.

I'm thinking of trying insulin but I'm pretty confused on a lot of issues. It seems to be a concensus that humalog preworkout is the best. There is alot of info on the thread but I wish it was condensed for simplicity.
#1) How much insulin preworkout for a 200 pound guy 20% bodyfat.
#2) What kind of shake is best / carbs - whatever. What is simple and best.
#3) Does it matter what kind of gear . ( I'm on 750mgs week of test, 800 eq atm )

Well that is what the electronic scale says. Some guys have like 10% on the same scale with no abs. My abs are faint and a little fat on the lower ab but I dont think its excessively fat. For me to be 10%, I would be insanely cut I think but then I dont think I've been that since I was 135 pounds.
