Hamstring Training
Some thoughts I wrote on hamstring training... probably kind of basic for many of us here, but maybe you'll get something out of it:

In my gym there is 2 floor, first floor is full of machines, and then you go up a bunch of stairs to reach the "harcore" section freeweights etc.
anyway they have a great lying leg curl machine on the bottom floor which I love, so I did my normal like 5 sets and decided to do supersets,
So after 3 supersets with 30 reps each, I thought I was gonna die.
And when I tried to walk up the stair, I Honestly couldnt lift my foot high enough to get up on ONE stair.. no matter how hard I tried, I so had to manually lift the leg up with my arms each step...
Must have looked retarded haha.
oh well, keep on, just got a hamstring flashback

Glute Ham Raises are the best. Elevate the back of it to make them really hard.

I have to go with GHR as one of the best ham exercises. But fuck they are hard as hell.

I have not read the article yet, but there are 3 exercises you can do in a workout that will trash your hamstrings and it does not matter whether you are a BBer or PLer.
Low box squats
Wide stand Good Mornings
GHR
Fucking Brutal.

Ive had a lot more hamstring response since I started doing hams right after quads instead of doing them on separate workouts. Much better pump, mind muscle connection and what not.. Feels great.
Whats weird to me is when I started doing this Ive become stronger in every hamstring exercise even though they should have had a beating already from doing quads, and this is while Im on a diet as well ;o

Many years ago I trained at a gym and Bill Starr trained there for a year or so.I remember he had us doing half deadlifts but it was the bottom half from the floor to the knees.I can`t remember what it was supposed to do but what it did do was destroy my hamstrings.I couldn`t walk the next day I was so sore.I may try this again and see how it works.
