It is very important to stretch after you train a muscle. Don't wait until you get older and have many musculoskeletal problems.

I always stretch a bit before and after lifting.
I only stretch a little before I train just to loosen up things and get the blood flowing.
I always stretch more after lifting, I find it helps recovery and im not as stiff the next day, someone also told me that it helps with flexibility and injury prevention.

Dynamic stretches before exercising and on days off, static stretches after.

I don't stretch on off days, but I stretch after working each muscle since I do DC Training. Dante said he read a study about skeletal muscle hypertophy in birds. I think this is the study:

I try to stretch before each weight workout, especially my lower back, hamstrings, & hip flexors but only after doing at least 10 minutes of low intensity cardio.
I never stretch a cold muscle. I also stretch whatever bodypart I am working between all sets.
I noticed that working out early AM and being in my 40's it helps the workouts.

yeh man! i kid you not!
ive never done stretching before. not even post or pre w/o.
started fts-7 about 10 weeks ago. i was so surprised with the difference.
apperently the reason black people have fuller and rounder muscle bellies is because their muscle facia is thinner, thus more easily stretched. wich makes perfect sense to me.

LOL, That would explain my stiffness because I have that Scandinavian complexion like Dennis Wolf or Brock Lesnar, i'm a really white bastard. If I joined a white power gang they would probably treat me like some sort of 'God' because i'm so fucking white.

i get massaged and stetched everyday bfore workouts.. helps when ur grl has a sports meds degree
