Bob clearly favors the AMI athletes over all others. He also tows the company line way too much.

I'm not sure how it went down with Bob, but I know Shawn was the first, and he used to post on his website forum how he got to be the rep, by going around to several pros, getting their signatures - essentially signing a petition for him to be the rep.
This was also when Wayne Demilla was still running the IFBB, who Shawn never got along with.

That is the key here. Bob will go out of his way to defend those that are part of the Weider/AMI family.. but if they are not he bashes them. Prime example is with Wolfe, he always talked negatively about Wolfe.. or didn't give him much props.. as soon as he signed with AMI and came on PBW he was his best friend.
Can't be a rep with biased ties and contracts with different parts of the organizations that represent certain athletes.

The athlete's rep should have no ties except to the athlete's.
Anything else would be a conflict of interest, right?

I don't believe being the athletes rep has anything to do with his indirect income. In fact I think it's such an insignificant role it has no positive or negative effect. Bob is able to get these sources of income because he's one of the few pro bodybuilders that can string two sentences together and has enough forethought to realize if he's going to make any money from bodybuilding it's not going to be from competing as a pro bodybuilder.
Athletes rep is a joke position put in place to make it seem like the IFBB and their associated businesses give a fuck.

Hahhahahahaha that's a total crack up. Next you'll be suggesting that you should get paid for competing as a pro like all the other pro athel...........oh forget it.
Who do you think should appoint and pay this atheletes rep? Maybe all the pro's should chip in $10 (they'd complain to the athletes rep if they had to pay more than $10) and pay someone. Of course the IFBB wouldn't give that individual the time of day. Or maybe the IFBB could appoint someone and give them a pay cheque. Of course that individual would be accused of towing the IFBB line to keep their pay.

It seems like only the fans on message boards voice their concerns and disapproval of Bob C. being the athlete's rep, but they're not the athletes.
As far as Bob not knowing Zack Khan a few years ago... I go to the Iron Man every year and there are always new guys from Europe every year that many people haven't heard of. So I guess Bob should have done a better job a few years ago, before he was the rep, and made a point to keep accurate accounts of each new IFBB pro from all countries in all weight classes so he could represent them in the future.
Milos being the athlete's rep? He's got a loud voice, but isn't concerned with following due process. He'd rather handle things his way when it comes to conspiracies. And make a conspiracy out of everything while he's at it.
Bottom line is Bob C. is a good diplomat. The athletes seem satisfied with him so why aren't the message boarders?
Bob has taken his position in the sport as far as anyone really can. He knows that. What's the point of any more self promotion?
