Just saw the star of an upcoming reality series on TLC titled "650 pound virgin,the weight is over" on the Today show. His trainer discussed how he used a bodybuilders protocol of carb cycling to help drop the pounds.
This proves once again that bodybuilders have always been on the forefront of proving what works and what doesn't.

Don't know if this is the same guy but they have had a show like this on before. It was interesting to watch how his training changed as he began to lose the weight. Both the guy and the trainer put in some serious work.
