I'm considering that one too. I want a show with more than one or two fbbers but not one that's stacked with national level competitors who are practicing like my first show.
You guys with the huge sponsor ads in your signatures make reading the forums annoying.

Empire States was a great show! Talk to Oren, the promoter - [email protected]. I worked for one of the vendors last year and had a great time!

Anyone have pics from 2009 NJ open? Can't find anything.
Also...I know Muscle Beach in July is not a Nat Qualifier...but anyone have any info on this? Wondering if it would be a cool show for just the fun!

Gold's is a NICE show! They didn't have it in 2009 because of a conflict (scheduling the venue, I believe?), but I was there in 2008 and it's well-done... pretty big show, but I don't think it's as big as the Easterns GM. The rest of the Jersey shows are pretty average... maybe 70-80 competitors in total. Every show I've attended or have competed in, there have only been a small handful of FBB's (usually 2-3 at most).
